Keenan is the Practice Manager at UrgentVet Coon Rapids and brings 10 years of experience in general practice veterinary medicine. Raised in rural Minnesota, Keenan’s path into the veterinary field came naturally – by his own words, the vet field found him.
One of Keenan’s favorite animal memories is when his cat, Chalooby Baby, wandered onto his porch and into his heart, a moment that perfectly reflects his appreciation for the unexpected bonds animals bring into our lives. His love for animals began early, including a memorable childhood experience caring for a wild snapper turtle—briefly—before returning it safely to the wild, a story he still fondly reflects on.
Keenan studied religion at North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and brings a thoughtful, reflective approach to both leadership and patient care. Outside of UrgentVet, he enjoys reading and writing.
He currently lives in Hopkins, Minnesota with his two sons, Ted and Gus, and their cat, Chalooby Baby, who may be part Maine Coon. Keenan is dedicated to creating a compassionate, welcoming environment where pets and their families feel supported, respected, and well cared for at UrgentVet Coon Rapids.
