Briette, Practice Manager at UrgentVet Westchase, has spent the past five years building her career in veterinary medicine, including four years with the Westchase team. Originally from East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Briette’s passion for animals began early while growing up on her family’s farm, surrounded by bunnies, chickens, ducks, sheep, and horses.
Briette studied Business Management at East Stroudsburg University, combining her love for animals with strong leadership and organizational skills. She joined UrgentVet Westchase in 2021, bringing with her a natural passion for supporting teams and creating a positive, compassionate environment for both pets and their people. Her experience spans general practice and urgent care.
One of Briette’s most treasured memories is rescuing her beloved cat, Simba James, when he was just four weeks old. She raised him as family, sharing ten joyful years filled with cuddles, play, and unforgettable moments—earning him the title of “king” in true Lion King fashion. Simba’s memory continues to hold a special place in her heart, alongside her current feline companion, Kovu, a brown tabby named after another Lion King favorite.
Outside of the clinic, Briette enjoys DIY crafting, nail art, and spending time outdoors—from the mountains of Pennsylvania to the beaches of Florida. She lives with her husband, Coree, a lifelong friend of 17 years, and their cat Kovu.
