Cassandra Fowler

Cassandra brings over a decade of experience and a lifelong passion for animal care to her role as Practice Manager. Originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina, Cassandra grew up surrounded by family pets who were truly part of the family. Being actively involved in their care from a young age inspired her commitment to helping both animals and the people who love them.

Cassandra began her career in veterinary medicine in 2013 in an entry-level role and has since developed her skills through hands-on, in-clinic experience. She is cross-trained in kennel care, reception, and veterinary assisting, giving her a deep appreciation for every role within a veterinary team. Her background is primarily in general practice, and she expanded into urgent care in 2024, further broadening her experience and leadership in a fast-paced clinical environment.

One of Cassandra’s most meaningful animal memories is adopting her first two dogs as an adult—a bonded pair consisting of a Miniature Australian Shepherd and a Boston Terrier. Without hesitation, she drove over six hours to meet them, and it was love at first sight. That moment marked the beginning of a full and happy life surrounded by rescue animals.

At home, Cassandra lives with her wife, Ashley, and her teenage son, Brayson, along with their lively group of pets. Their household includes three dogs—Chance, Axel, and Cherilyn—and six cats: Benji, Indie, Kakashi, Tobie, Sylvie, and Sparky. All are rescues, each with their own unique personality, making their home both busy and full of love.

Outside of work, Cassandra enjoys painting as a way to relax, as well as fishing and spending quality time with her family—especially cheering on her son at football games. As a dedicated pet parent herself, she understands how stressful it can be when a pet isn’t feeling well. She is passionate about providing compassionate care, clear communication, and education to ensure pet parents feel supported and confident every step of the way.
