Mark grew up in Hamden, CT and had a love for animals at a young age. As a child, he would wake his grandmother at dawn to watch the birds on the porch and spent his childhood observing every creature he encountered. This passion led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Connecticut.
With 10 years of experience in the veterinary field, Mark has worked in diverse areas, including ER, urgent care, zoo and aquarium husbandry, and as a farm hand. One of his most cherished memories is bringing home his first childhood dog, Abby, a yellow lab, who became everything he could have hoped for in a companion.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys traveling, spending time in nature, and playing volleyball. He is also an avid sketch artist and considers himself an amate chef, always eager to try new recipes.
Mark leads at team at UrgentVet Beverly where they treat non-life-threatening emergencies in cats and dogs.
