Kristine Palombi, originally from Parkland, Florida, found her calling in the veterinary field, inspired by a significant life decision she made during her transition to adulthood. Adopting her blue-nosed pit bull, Rocky, before heading off to college marked a pivotal moment. From road trips up the East Coast to being a steadfast companion through various homes, Rocky became an integral part of Kristine’s life, creating enduring memories.

Kristine pursued her education at Penn Foster, where she undoubtedly honed the skills that would shape her career in veterinary care. With a decade of experience in the field, including both General Practice and Emergency settings, Kristine brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her work at UrgentVet.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Kristine embraces an active lifestyle. Hiking, beach and pool time, and indulging in a good book are among her favorite hobbies. At home, she shares her space with three lively canine companions: Onyx, a wolf/shepherd hybrid; Nala, an American pit bull terrier; and Koda, a mixed breed.

For those curious about Kristine’s softer side, she admits to shedding a tear when watching the classic movie “Homeward Bound,” showcasing her deep emotional connection to stories involving the bond between humans and animals.
