Ashleigh Moore

Ashleigh brings over 11 years of veterinary experience and a lifelong connection to animals to her role as Practice Manager. Originally from Chapin, South Carolina, Ashleigh grew up surrounded by farm animals, retired hunting dogs, and rescued wildlife. From an early age, she developed a deep sense of connection with animals that has guided both her personal and professional life.

Ashleigh earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences with a minor in Biology from Clemson University in South Carolina. She began her career in general practice as a veterinary assistant and has since built a broad and diverse background across many areas of veterinary medicine.

Her experience includes general practice with both small animals and exotics—such as skunks, rabbits, birds, chinchillas, guinea pigs, and even mountain lions—along with farm animal care through house calls. She has also served as a liaison for a traveling orthopedic surgeon, gaining hands-on experience with advanced surgical procedures. In addition, Ashleigh has worked in equine reproduction, performing ultrasounds, uterine flushes, hormone therapy, collections, and artificial insemination. She is also certified in artificial insemination for beef cattle and has assisted with canine reproductive work for dog shows.

One of Ashleigh’s favorite experiences in veterinary medicine is assisting with newborn animals, especially foals, and witnessing those first moments of life.

At home, Ashleigh lives with her fiancée, Robby, and a full household of animals, including six dogs—Rosie, Lucy, Queen, Diesel, Sully, Odie, and foster pup Huck—as well as three cats: Doobie, Kneazle, and Jar Jar Binx. Many of their animals are rescues or “found family,” making their home lively and full of personality.

Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys fishing, gardening, cooking and baking, hiking, crafting, building projects, and spending time near the water. She is also passionate about staying active and exploring local food scenes, always eager to try new places.

Ashleigh is dedicated to compassionate, hands-on veterinary care and brings both extensive experience and genuine heart to every patient she supports at UrgentVet Greenville.
