Sallie Goode

Sallie was born and raised in Katy, Texas where she grew up doing ride-alongs with her equine vet. She knew that she was passionate about the human-animal bond and decided to attend Lonestar College for human nursing. It did not take long till she decided to quickly shift to vet med!

Outside of UrgentVet, Sallie is an enjoys natural horsemanship training. She loves having breakthroughs with exceptionally challenging horses but most specifically a thoroughbred named Scarlet. Sallie also raises cattle, attending rodeos and even ranching! She is a Texas girl through and through.

Sallie and her husband, Paul, have a full house with their pups – Vivian (German Shepherd) and Angus (Black lab mix), Sapphire (Siamese Cat), and their horses – Sugar, Dakota, Jazzy, Goose and Valentino. She absolutely loves all living beings but also being involved in her community through charity work.

Sallie comes to UrgentVet with 17 years of experience in general practice, internal medicine, and emergency veterinary practice. She is excited to lead her team and help the pets of the community feel better!
