Nicole brings over 20 years of experience to the veterinary field. Growing up in Stacy, Minnesota, Nicole developed a deep passion for animals from a young age, spending her summers on the family farm. This connection to animals led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, where she has gained experience across various areas of the field.

Nicole holds an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology from Argosy University in Minnesota. Throughout her career, she has worked in general practice, emergency care, veterinary distribution, preclinical research, and education as a Program Director for Technician Programs. Outside of UrgentVet, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing her creative hobbies, including painting, drawing, sewing, and taking on projects around her house. Nicole and her family share their home with an impressive assortment of pets, including Westin the Westie, four chinchillas, two ferrets, a hamster named Bernard, a bearded dragon named Margo, and a tortoise named Francois—making their household a truly small in-house farm!
