Kendra Hamilton

Kendra Hamilton, raised in Mesquite, Texas, found her calling in veterinary care through a childhood filled with a deep love for animals. Her journey into the field began with her first dog, Sammi, sparking a passion that would shape her career.

After a serendipitous encounter at a horse stable, Kendra transitioned into veterinary medicine, starting as a kennel technician. Her talent and dedication were quickly recognized, propelling her into roles across Shelter Medicine, General Practice, Internal Medicine and Emergency Care.

A graduate of Dallas College and Tarleton State University, Kendra holds degrees in Veterinary Technology, reflecting her commitment to excellence.

Outside of her work in the clinic, Kendra is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, fostering various animals. At home, she shares her life with her husband, Jeff, and their cherished pets: Spartacus (Shepherd Mix), Sable (Rhodesian Ridgeback), and BB (Miniature Potbellied pig who is 190 pounds and lives indoors!)

With 17 years of experience, Kendra’s passion for animals’ shines through her work, supported by her diverse skills, love for music, and fluency in American Sign Language.

Kendra leads a team that treats minor injuries and illnesses in cats and dogs in the McKinney area.
