Janise Feliciano0 days agoFrom the first time I came here very stressed about my dog being sick. I was in the waiting room and I saw them come and check on all the dogs really quick. Just to check if it was an emergency or not. There was a dog there that was an emergency and they sent them to an emergency vet right away. They were upfront about this being an emergency. And gave them recommendations to other vets near by that could handle that situation better. They were very reasonable and very kind. From the start I really appreciated that because they were looking out for the patients health and not theirselves or their money. They also handled my dog very well and we're up front about what was needed and what was recommended as to not upsell me, but just to make sure that I was comfortable with my dog's care. Since then I've come here numerous times for my dog's ear infection, dirt in her eye, and as of recently a cough. And Everytime we were in and out feeling better about a scary situation. For urgent needs I highly recommend them. Just for an exam was $135 without insurance.Posted on Google

ent ity0 days agoTook my 16-year old pug, Lou, here for an urgent visit and was treated exceptionally well with such care. Emily in the office and vet techs Morgan and Allie were so sweet and caring. He even got his own bed and blankie which helped calm him. Dr Detwiler and Dr McDonald were so personable and competent, just incredible. I knew my baby was in good hands. Amazing staff. Thank you so much. •FYI an exam is around $150 and antibiotics are around $50 so it won’t break the bank to take your pet herePosted on Google

Lisa Lee0 days agoI HIGHLY RECOMMEND Urgent Vet. I want to thank Dr. Lopez-Diaz, Heather and staff. Everyone was very professional, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. My cat scratched his EYEBALL while he was grooming himself after he got his nails trimmed. I read some not so great reviews in the area. After reading the reviews (4.6), I decided to take Brandon here. I am so glad I did! Dr. Lopez-Diaz filled me in every step of the way with my lil Brandon's eyeball. She even showed me what exactly had happened when she put the stain drops in his eye. Heather is outstanding. She left no stone unturned. Dr. Lopez-Diaz wrote a Rx for eye drops to bring to my local pharmacy because she did not feel comfortable with the eye drops she had there. You will not find that with other vets! The prices are VERY reasonable in comparison to other vet hospitals that would have charged me three times as much. The facility is very nice and clean. On a Sunday, it's hard to find an amazing, caring Vet that will help out in an emergency. They made a follow-up call the next day to make sure Brandon was alright and what needs to be done next. Thank you all, Lisa & Brandon 😻 🧿Posted on Google

Christina Ritter0 days agoI called ahead to see how busy they were and was able to get in pretty quickly so I was lucky The vet did a great job checking out.My kitten who had a complication from her spade surgery and the tech showed me how to giver her meds. My kitten was given an anti inflammation injection and antibiotics. After two days she is a lot better. Overall a great experience. I recommend calling ahead to see how busy they are. It can save you frustration if you know that in advance.Posted on Google
Justin0 days agoAmazing, polite, empathetic, and caring staff in a clean and well organized facility. It was my first time visiting UrgentVet and I am blown away at how amazing the staff and facility are. Every interaction from the phone to checking in was courteous and the staff gave us their full attention. The way they navigated the visit was with a level of calm empathy that made me and my dog feel less anxious. Being able to reserve my spot ahead of time was a nice touch. It was even better when I walked in and they immediately brought me and my dog to a room. There was some waiting, but it was not a lot. We were in and out in a little over an hour with a plan of action and the necessary meds. I highly recommend this facility and team for emergent visits that aren't life threatening or super complex cases. Will definitely use them again if my normal vet is closed.Posted on Google

RAYNA HARTWICK1 days agoI had taken my 13 yr.old Australian Sheppard to my regular vet yesterday because he wouldn't eat , was drinking copious amounts of water and just wouldn't settle down. Lots of blood tests were done and they wanted to do another blood test on Monday to check for Cushings disease. Well, this morning (Saturday) I just couldn't stand to watch him walking around the house and out the doggie door. I googled "Emergenc Vets" and found this one just down the street from my home. I called and they asked when I wanted to bring him in; I told her, "Right away". I was told to bring him right in. The Vet came in, examined him and said she could make him more comfortable by giving him a shot to calm him down and also am anti-nausia injection. She was professional and compassionate inspiring confidence. I would highly recommend this Emergency Vet clinic, I am glad I found them so close to home was an added bonus.Posted on Google

My dog ingested rat poison, and the moment I called, the staff was calm, incredibly helpful, and efficient. They registered us right away over the phone and set an emergency appointment. When we arrived, there was zero delay—they brought us straight back into an exam room while I was still on the phone with Poison Control. Sharon Horwitz2 days agoThe first thing you need to understand is it will be a wait. I will go so far as to say a very long wait if it is a Saturday or a Sunday or nighttime, when you can't find a vet for your sick animal. However, if you need this service, this is the only place you can get it at this time. The veterinarian is excellent and takes her time to explain everything that's going on. The vet tech is incredibly professional and helpful. My dog needed some pain meds to get her through until her appointment with her regular vet on Monday. It was worth every minute that I sat and waited to be seen in order for my dog to get that relief. I literally cannot come up with words large enough to explain how wonderful they were there. Hopefully, you won't need to ever use them, but if you are ever in the situation where you do, I, for one am incredibly grateful that they exist.Posted on Google

Jeremy Monteverde3 days agoI can’t possibly speak highly enough about this place in a single review. I regret not remembering the manager and doctor’s name but they were exceptional professionals, and caring individuals. After being turned away from so many places due to overcapacity, inability or unwillingness to help, it was a relief to find UrgentVet. They were welcoming, patient, listened to my situation (which was somewhat unique) and provided me with thoughtful guidance as I considered all options in what ended up being an extremely stressful and difficult time. The care and attention they provided wasn’t something you see often, if ever. It’s not likely people think ahead about where to go when faced with that difficult decision but I’ll say this, I drove 45 minutes out of my way to go here and I’d do it again in a heart beat if/when faced with the same situation. If you need anything for your pet, these are people you can trust and I can’t recommend them enough - if I could give 10/5 stars, I sincerely would.Posted on Google

Lisa3 days agoOur dear sweet Snowball fell ill suddenly after going to one urgent care facility and finding it closed, our vet suggested Urgent Vet. We were greeted with compassion and expedited quickly to a private room. They bundled our baby in towels so we could embrace her with love while giving us the reality of the situation. They didn’t drag her through the diagnostic test of bloodwork and x-rays. They assisted us in a peaceful, though very sad transition of helping her over the rainbow bridge. Their compassion in combination with making paw prints and nose prints allowed us to say our farewell and peace, comfort, love and bring home a memento of our baby. I recommend urgent Vet for your beloved furreinds emergency care.Posted on Google

Wolfgang Kush4 days agoWithout any hesitation, I highly recommend this after-hours vet clinic. I had to bring my 11.5-year-old Frenchie in late at night for a severe stomach issue. He usually hates the vet, but the staff and veterinarian treated him so warmly that he was actually happy and comfortable the entire time. They quickly got us set up with the right medications, specialized food, and probiotics. After years of visiting different vets, this is the first time he has ever left a clinic excited and happy. Thank you to the incredible team for taking such amazing care of my little guy!Posted on Google
Marion Wolf4 days agoEveryone there is very kind and knowledgeable; the staff really made the entire experience so much calmer and helped put my mind at ease about the issues my little guy was having. The communication is absolutely phenomenal. It's also WAY cheaper than an emergency vet. They loved him so much they even sent him home with a little "Pet of the Week" certificate! It was an amazing experience from start to finish. I'd give 100+ stars if I could.Posted on Google

Michael Duddie4 days agoI had a great experience today with an emergency for our cat. The team was warm, welcoming, didn't put up silly barriers, instead took quick action, and got us moving quickly. They started care seamlessly, articulated their position and options with confidence, then delivered on exactly what they promised. While I hope to not have to visit too often (or ever) I am comforted to know there are some talented and focused people I can turn to in an emergency. Thank you team!Posted on Google

Alicia Vallarta4 days agoMy senior dog, Allie, waited until the vet's office was closed to show me she had an upper respiratory infection, so we visited UrgentVet to get her checked out. We got immediately put into a room and seen by a tech, and the vet came in shortly after. Everyone was friendly and helpful, made Allie feel comfortable, and was great about explaining everything and the options to me. When we had to go back a few days later, our visit was a little longer, but we otherwise had the same great experience. Definitely will be there any time one of my five dogs has an emergency!Posted on Google

The staff were very attentive, friendly, thorough, honest, and listened to all of my concerns. They answered my questions with patience and made sure that my dog and I were comfortable throughout the entire visit. Thanks to their expertise and help, my girl was back to normal by the time we got home. I appreciate their hours and the setup/process of the space. I will recommend this urgent vet care to anyone, and I am so grateful for everyone who helped us, specifically the staff working on October 28th, Nurse May, the young man whose first day it was (he did awesome), and the doctor. Cheryl Pendell5 days agoMy sweet pup Olive Grace had a bad reaction to anesthesia during her spay and then also developed a severe skin infection (12 hours after surgery). Thank you all for staying after hours to see that she received the care she needed. I’m grateful beyond words.Posted on Google
Carolyn Strejc5 days agoSuch a caring and professional staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt supported. I was bringing my cat in that evening because I knew she was going to pass soon and all I wanted was to help her feel comfortable as she crossed that bridge. Sadly, she passed away before we reached the facility. I cannot express how much their kindness meant when I arrived. There was no pressure about pricing or demand for payment before anything else. They simply led me into a quiet room and let me hold my baby and cry. Once I was able to speak, they gently walked me through the next steps. They could not have been more compassionate, patient, or professional during such a heartbreaking moment. I found them through a desperate Google search for help, and I feel truly blessed that it led me here. Thank you for caring for both Cece and me with such dignity and kindness. I will recommend you over and over again.Posted on Google

Jessica Smith5 days agoI've had to bring my German Shepherd here twice (once for a laceration and once for diarrhea) and have had excellent care both times. The staff have been friendly, timely, and communicate well throughout the visit. For example, when we were last there the tech popped in to let me know the status of one test while another was still in progress and another staff member let me know that a critical patient needed extra hands. Totally understandable and we were still taken care of in a timely fashion with a lot of kindness and no dramatics.Posted on Google

Late at night, my dog ate something random in the grass, and we were panicked and unsure of what to do. Even though it was late, they picked up our call immediately, calmed us down, and walked us through exactly how to monitor him and when we might need to induce vomiting. Thankfully, everything turned out fine and we didn't have to do any of that, but the team was so patient with us throughout the entire call. Because this wasn't a formal consultation, they didn't even charge us a fee, yet they still gave us top-tier guidance and peace of mind. Andrea Ball6 days agoI called Urgent Vet on a Friday afternoon right before my normal vet office here in Hendersonville closed (my vet’s office said the doctor had already left for the weekend) and was desperate for an answer about medicine I had given my pup. Paisley, Amber and Brooke all took the extra time to find answers over the phone and help alleviate my worries. Since it costs $99 to call animal poison control, I was grateful that they not only saved me this cost, they also saved me the time (and lots of money) to have to drive in to Nashville’s after hours clinic. Nor did they try to insist I come in (which would cost too). Since they helped me out of the goodness of their hearts and no charge to me, I called back to ask for their names so I can write this review. Diamond- your staff are awesome! Melanie Rose Stefanchik7 days agoThe vet and who I’m assuming was the vet tech were so kind and knowledgeable. Even with an urgent sick dog in clinic they were timely and compassionate. They continuously apologized for the wait but I was in and out in 1.5 hours which is more than I could ask for in an after hours clinic with one vet managing multiple animals and one more critical one. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone!Posted on Google
Kristen Fiore7 days agoEveryone was kind and helpful. I came home to an awful time with my dog today after our vet was closed. He is 16 and we are just keeping him comfortable until he leaves us. I decided not to really share that with the vet and wanted to see what they would suggest. I was seen super fast by David and then by Ursula, the vet. The vet explained everything thoroughly. David then gave me an estimate and I refused most of the things, but the vet was really thorough and suggested things that if he had been younger I would have opted in for if he wasn’t due for his regular vet literally a few days later. I was in and out in an hour and a half even with an ultrasound. The exam fee was SUPER reasonable ($135), ultrasound was $65 as well. I hope I don’t have to be back, but I would suggest this place to anyone with an ill dog (who is appropriate to be seen here as this is NOT an emergency room).Posted on Google

Ashlee Marie7 days ago10/10 let’s just get that out of the way. My boyfriend and I took our golden doodle in, we had noticed that he was acting off, had gobs of drool, was tilting his head and wasn’t eating. I thought it could’ve been a fox tail because they’re around, the doctor came in and looked at him and immediately noticed he had a spot under his tongue and some swelling; after discussing options as well as budget we decided it would be best to proctor see what was going on. After an hour or so we got the call she filled us in on everything turns out it was a puncture wound probably from a stick or bone, no fox tail. She told us if we had any concerns at all to and she would personally be in. Thee entire staff that we spoke with were pleasant and very friendly. All very lovely people. Couldn’t say enough about how great they all were. This place was also clean and got us in immediately.Posted on Google

Cesars Shoe World8 days agoKeeping in mind this Vet deals with stressful pet care emergencies. I was completely comfortable leaving my Cat for IV treatment. I saw Dr. Jijac, nurses Anna and Cheyenne what a great team. They were very calm and handled my Cat with care. Doctor took time to go over everything with me with patience. They showed me the itemized costs before treatment and explained the viable options. They moved quickly as to get my pet taken care of asap, unlike my own experience in hospitals where I sit in a hospital bed in the hallway for hours. LOL Again I will absolutely go back if my pets need after-hour care. I hope not. Costly but better than anticipated for ER. Thank you for your great care of my Kit Kat.Posted on Google
Ashleigh Gould8 days ago⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ if I could give more than 5 stars I would. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with UrgentVet McKinney. From start to finish, everything was exceptional, and I am so incredibly grateful for the care they provided our sweet boy. The team is fantastic, caring, empathetic, knowledgeable. Making an appointment was super easy and convenient, and the entire experience was efficient without feeling rushed. We were in and out in an hour, which was such a relief when we were already worried about our dog. The team took wonderful care of our baby, thoroughly treating his painful issues and making sure he received the attention he needed. Seeing your fur baby uncomfortable is heartbreaking, and knowing he was in such capable hands meant the world to us. He’s already improved remarkably, and we couldn’t be more relieved. Another huge plus was the affordability. The visit was much less expensive than a traditional emergency vet hospital, while still providing excellent timely care. Having a place like UrgentVet available when your pet needs swift attention for non life threatening emergencies is invaluable to us. We left feeling genuinely grateful, reassured, and confident in the treatment Kona received. Thank you to the entire UrgentVet McKinney team for taking such wonderful care of our boy! I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone whose pet needs urgent veterinary attention. You have earned our trust and appreciation! ❤️🐾Posted on Google

They were patient despite having had a whole lot of emergency situations while my mom-emergency doggo and I waited, they remained calm professional and courteous, offering snacks and coffee and water from the lobby, and continued to check in with us and let us know how things were going. When we did get to see the vet she was very easy to talk to, just like the staff. I wish I could remember names but everyone we encountered was really great to interact with. They were as prompt as they could be and offered multiple options for treatment, talked through them with me and made appropriate accommodations to make sure my baby was taken care of. They also have a charging station for devices in case you don’t have a charger, and every pet has its own room and there were never any interactions with other dogs inside the facility which was helpful for us.Posted on Google

Kimberly Bernheimer8 days agoCheck in was so easy online so I could wait in the car with my sick cat until I could be seen to not have to stress her out even more. I ultimately had to make the difficult decision to put my 16+ year old cat down because bloodwork showed she had advanced kidney disease and even if treated might no longer have any quality of life. They helped me make the most difficult decision easier and were very patient and kind even though I was a sobbing mess. Place was so clean and well laid out. I hope I’m not in that situation anytime soon with my other pets but I would definitely recommend this place and the people.Posted on Google

Travis Meyerhoffer8 days agoI unfortunately had to visit this location of Urgent Vet for what I feel is one of the hardest things to do in life. We had to let an old friend move on from this world. I reached out to this location and from the ease of making the appointment to going in and meeting the staff was an excellent experience. I cannot thank those who were there on the day I went in. Dr Dubil, is an excellent person and veterinarian, super kind and gentle with our pet. Thank you for your support and help Dr Dubil. Drea, thank you for being so kind and gentle to our pet, we could tell you love animals and have nothing but love for them! Then there’s Emi. This kind person is so amazing! Thank you so very much for all your help! From helping my elderly mother throughout the building and walking us through the process. Your love and kindness to all is nothing short of extraordinary!! It’s not often that one meets someone like Emi!! Emi definitely went way above and beyond helping and supporting my mother and her pet as we went through this difficult process of sending a Family member to a better place. Thanks again to all whom helped us through this, I cannot say enough, nor express how wonderful you all were to us. You all definitely deserve recognition for your kindness, service and dedication to first the Animals, and serving people. We had an unbelievably extraordinary experience with these Lady’s. I would not hesitate to let everyone know how great this location of Urgent Vet facility and their staff are. Thank you! Thank you! So very much!!Posted on Google

Alicia Venor8 days agoI brought in my very sick cat, after finding it very easy to schedule an appointment. The young parson that greeted me and did the initial consultation was lovely, so respectful and careful with my cat. The very them came in and even after I expressed sheer hopelessness at the amount of testing and lack of the financial means to continue, he still gave me very sound and practical advice. This is a top quality facility where they care about you, as well as your animal and balance professionalism, and heart perfectly.Posted on Google

Dr was empathetic and knowledgeable. We were in and out in a little over an hour. I would go back if needed. Rosa Popoca9 days ago⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t thank the doctor and the two wonderful nurses enough for their kindness, patience, and compassion during one of the hardest nights of our lives. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our sweet Papi. 💔🐾 Even though they closed at 8 PM, they stayed with us until the very end and never made us feel rushed. They treated Papi with so much love and gave our family the time we needed to say goodbye. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making such a painful moment a little easier. Wendi Slone9 days agoI can't tell you enough about the bedside manner of this family at this facility. Yes, I said family. They treated us like family and the dearest of friends. They held our hands during the passing of our precious Maltese then rushed our doberman through the process of saving her from rat poison. They are life savers and some of the most kind hearted people you will ever meet. I recommend this location whole heartily to anyone that loves their pets. Our doberman who can't stand going to vet, felt calm and didn't panic there. This was very out of character for her and was such a warm change.Posted on Google

From the moment we walked in, the staff was calm, compassionate, and took us back immediately. They kept us updated, explained everything clearly, and treated my cat with so much gentleness and knew how to handle him even though he is "spicey" (the tech's description which made me laugh). The communication was excellent, the pricing was transparent, and the facility was clean and organized. Thank you for the amazing work you do every day!Posted on Google
