Alex discovered his love and desire to care for animals at a very young age. Growing up, he always told everyone he wanted to be a veterinarian, zookeeper, and a farmer (all at the same time.) Right out of high school, Alex earned his Associates in Applied Science of Veterinary Technology from Globe University in South Dakota.
After completing his college degree, he then discovered that he really enjoyed the process of helping others learn and assist them in their career growth. Alex has worked in the veterinary industry since 2016, in both emergency veterinary hospitals and general practice veterinary hospitals. Alex strongly believes that his diverse background of general practice and emergency medicine helps him to understand the many aspects of veterinary medicine.
Alex believes that both patient care and client experience are equally important. He believes that exceptional communication and transparency are vital to helping owners understand what their pets need.
Alex has lived in Texas for approximately 3 years. When Alex is not working, he enjoys spending time with family, friends, his pets (2 dogs and 2 cats), watching movies, video games, and home improvement projects. Alex is very excited for his role at UrgentVet because it will allow him to mentor and teach others, he really enjoys the process of helping others grow and learn.
