Great experience! Made an appointment online & seen as soon as we walked in. The vet tech and vet were caring, informative, and patient. Very reasonable. So thankful they were open today. If we need urgent care again, we'll choose them again.Posted on Google
Sharon Horwitz0 days agoThe first thing you need to understand is it will be a wait. I will go so far as to say a very long wait if it is a Saturday or a Sunday or nighttime, when you can't find a vet for your sick animal. However, if you need this service, this is the only place you can get it at this time. The veterinarian is excellent and takes her time to explain everything that's going on. The vet tech is incredibly professional and helpful. My dog needed some pain meds to get her through until her appointment with her regular vet on Monday. It was worth every minute that I sat and waited to be seen in order for my dog to get that relief. I literally cannot come up with words large enough to explain how wonderful they were there. Hopefully, you won't need to ever use them, but if you are ever in the situation where you do, I, for one am incredibly grateful that they exist.Posted on Google
Rose Bates0 days agoThe girls were so kind when I showed up just before close with my dog who ate a bunch of chocolate. They Treated Cookie like a Rockstar and were reassuring to me. We've had bad experiences with emergency vets in the past. This place was nothing like the other ones. I am so happy they took care of my girl.Posted on Google
Nadia Krall0 days agoDoctor and staff were very attentive to our GSD's uregent GI needs. This was the second time we have taken him to this facility. More reasonably priced than a typical ER, for non-life threatening issues. Highly recommend.Posted on Google
Amanda Guinn0 days agoI visited UrgentVet in Kingwood when my 2yo NSDTR caught kennel cough (even though he’s vaccinated!) at doggy daycare. They were very thorough with the examination & I could tell that they love their work with the pets they care for. They gave me clear options for his treatment plan and helped me dose him for the first time. They are great in the event you should need an urgent vet for your pet but not want to pay the emergency fees. Just remember that they cannot treat life threatening injuries or illnesses!Posted on Google
Annie Collins0 days agoIncredibly kind and informative staff. So attentive even if busy. One staff member even offered me a coffee. The facility is very clean and most important then my sweet Murphy all taken care of with care. My bill was even less than I anticipated, bonus going to Urgent Care vs ER.Posted on Google

She wasn’t feeling well, but we loved that we were able to schedule a time and be seen close to that time. They were up front with costs and explained everything they were doing in detail. By the end of the visit, she was feeling better and they sent us home with next steps to get her to 100%. Thank you so much!Posted on Google

Heather0 days agoDr. Hyneck and staff were great! My dog Crue was brought back to a room and seen by Dr. Hynek fairly quickly. She and the rest of the staff were friendly, and Dr. Hyneck let me decide the best treatment option for Crue instead of offering only the most expensive option. I’ll always go back to this office whenever I’m in need of urgent care for my dog!Posted on Google
Marmel Melz0 days agoStaff and vet were extremely helpful, informative and friendly. I scheduled an appointment online and check in was very easy. I was attended right away. A heartfelt thank you to each and everyone who helped.Posted on Google

Jeremy Monteverde1 days agoI can’t possibly speak highly enough about this place in a single review. I regret not remembering the manager and doctor’s name but they were exceptional professionals, and caring individuals. After being turned away from so many places due to overcapacity, inability or unwillingness to help, it was a relief to find UrgentVet. They were welcoming, patient, listened to my situation (which was somewhat unique) and provided me with thoughtful guidance as I considered all options in what ended up being an extremely stressful and difficult time. The care and attention they provided wasn’t something you see often, if ever. It’s not likely people think ahead about where to go when faced with that difficult decision but I’ll say this, I drove 45 minutes out of my way to go here and I’d do it again in a heart beat if/when faced with the same situation. If you need anything for your pet, these are people you can trust and I can’t recommend them enough - if I could give 10/5 stars, I sincerely would.Posted on Google

Scott Johnson1 days agoOur senior dog passed away peacefully at home October 29th in the early evening. In my search to find a veterinarian’s office to facilitate cremation, I randomly selected Urgent Vet from a Google search. I called to get more information and was told they could help. I asked about pricing for the various cremation options and the prices were reasonable. I gathered our dog and drove to their office. I was warmly greeted, offered help to bring the dog inside and offered a private room so my wife and I could spend more time with him. Under the circumstances, Urgent Vet surpassed my expectations. Thank you to the staff who assisted us!Posted on Google

Marc Bee1 days agoI had a wonderful experience with UrgentVet. Dr. Steed and Xavier were both incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout our visit. They took the time to understand my kitty’s needs and put together a treatment plan that could help her while also being realistic and considerate of my financial situation. As a pet owner, it can be stressful worrying about your fur baby, especially when finances are a concern. They never made me feel judged or uncomfortable. Instead, they showed compassion, understanding, and genuine care. I truly appreciate them taking the time to help us find the best possible approach for my kitty. Thank you, Dr. Steed and Xavier, for making a stressful situation a little easier. I’m very grateful for both of you!Posted on Google

Lisa1 days agoOur dear sweet Snowball fell ill suddenly after going to one urgent care facility and finding it closed, our vet suggested Urgent Vet. We were greeted with compassion and expedited quickly to a private room. They bundled our baby in towels so we could embrace her with love while giving us the reality of the situation. They didn’t drag her through the diagnostic test of bloodwork and x-rays. They assisted us in a peaceful, though very sad transition of helping her over the rainbow bridge. Their compassion in combination with making paw prints and nose prints allowed us to say our farewell and peace, comfort, love and bring home a memento of our baby. I recommend urgent Vet for your beloved furreinds emergency care.Posted on Google
Jennifer O1 days agoBoth the vet and tech were kind, thorough and professional. It is so nice to have a pet urgent care when you need to be seen right away - it is pricier than the vet …. (My only concern) but that is to be expected. I am very happy with my experience and the way they took care of my cat !! Also very clean inside .Posted on Google
Chris Martin1 days agoMy puppy was peeing blood, with a UTI & they agreed to let me set up a payment plan because they know my family couldn’t afford the care for her. When I left, they didn’t even charge me. These people are angels, every one of them. They’re all super knowledgeable, were very kind to Merica & I, and gave her some treats & even a discount card for her meds! I’m not saying this so people will ask for free care,I’m making sure people know how caring & exceptional this clinic is. They went above & behind the call of duty to protect & help our baby, and even gave us nutrition advice & pointers on how to get free food from local charities. Wonderful people, immaculately clean facilities & I couldn’t be more pleased. Take your pets here, they operate with love & compassion here. You won’t regret your choice!Posted on Google
Wolfgang Kush2 days agoWithout any hesitation, I highly recommend this after-hours vet clinic. I had to bring my 11.5-year-old Frenchie in late at night for a severe stomach issue. He usually hates the vet, but the staff and veterinarian treated him so warmly that he was actually happy and comfortable the entire time. They quickly got us set up with the right medications, specialized food, and probiotics. After years of visiting different vets, this is the first time he has ever left a clinic excited and happy. Thank you to the incredible team for taking such amazing care of my little guy!Posted on Google
Marion Wolf2 days agoEveryone there is very kind and knowledgeable; the staff really made the entire experience so much calmer and helped put my mind at ease about the issues my little guy was having. The communication is absolutely phenomenal. It's also WAY cheaper than an emergency vet. They loved him so much they even sent him home with a little "Pet of the Week" certificate! It was an amazing experience from start to finish. I'd give 100+ stars if I could.Posted on Google

Alicia Vallarta2 days agoMy senior dog, Allie, waited until the vet's office was closed to show me she had an upper respiratory infection, so we visited UrgentVet to get her checked out. We got immediately put into a room and seen by a tech, and the vet came in shortly after. Everyone was friendly and helpful, made Allie feel comfortable, and was great about explaining everything and the options to me. When we had to go back a few days later, our visit was a little longer, but we otherwise had the same great experience. Definitely will be there any time one of my five dogs has an emergency!Posted on Google

Carolyn Strejc3 days agoSuch a caring and professional staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt supported. I was bringing my cat in that evening because I knew she was going to pass soon and all I wanted was to help her feel comfortable as she crossed that bridge. Sadly, she passed away before we reached the facility. I cannot express how much their kindness meant when I arrived. There was no pressure about pricing or demand for payment before anything else. They simply led me into a quiet room and let me hold my baby and cry. Once I was able to speak, they gently walked me through the next steps. They could not have been more compassionate, patient, or professional during such a heartbreaking moment. I found them through a desperate Google search for help, and I feel truly blessed that it led me here. Thank you for caring for both Cece and me with such dignity and kindness. I will recommend you over and over again.Posted on Google

Late at night, my dog ate something random in the grass, and we were panicked and unsure of what to do. Even though it was late, they picked up our call immediately, calmed us down, and walked us through exactly how to monitor him and when we might need to induce vomiting. Thankfully, everything turned out fine and we didn't have to do any of that, but the team was so patient with us throughout the entire call. Andrea Ball4 days agoI called Urgent Vet on a Friday afternoon right before my normal vet office here in Hendersonville closed (my vet’s office said the doctor had already left for the weekend) and was desperate for an answer about medicine I had given my pup. Paisley, Amber and Brooke all took the extra time to find answers over the phone and help alleviate my worries. Since it costs $99 to call animal poison control, I was grateful that they not only saved me this cost, they also saved me the time (and lots of money) to have to drive in to Nashville’s after hours clinic. Nor did they try to insist I come in (which would cost too). Since they helped me out of the goodness of their hearts and no charge to me, I called back to ask for their names so I can write this review. Diamond- your staff are awesome! Vanessa Carolina Marcano-Kelly4 days agoEveryone was very professional and attentive and kind to my dogs. Clean facilities, efficient process. The cost may be a little higher than at the other vet but this place is open after hours, so I understand. They have refreshments in the waiting area and are just really attentive to the fact we are there all worried about our pets, which is really appreciated. Thanks for all you do for our furry family!Posted on Google

Melanie Rose Stefanchik5 days agoThe vet and who I’m assuming was the vet tech were so kind and knowledgeable. Even with an urgent sick dog in clinic they were timely and compassionate. They continuously apologized for the wait but I was in and out in 1.5 hours which is more than I could ask for in an after hours clinic with one vet managing multiple animals and one more critical one. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone!Posted on Google
Kristen Fiore5 days agoEveryone was kind and helpful. I came home to an awful time with my dog today after our vet was closed. He is 16 and we are just keeping him comfortable until he leaves us. I decided not to really share that with the vet and wanted to see what they would suggest. I was seen super fast by David and then by Ursula, the vet. The vet explained everything thoroughly. David then gave me an estimate and I refused most of the things, but the vet was really thorough and suggested things that if he had been younger I would have opted in for if he wasn’t due for his regular vet literally a few days later. I was in and out in an hour and a half even with an ultrasound. The exam fee was SUPER reasonable ($135), ultrasound was $65 as well. I hope I don’t have to be back, but I would suggest this place to anyone with an ill dog (who is appropriate to be seen here as this is NOT an emergency room).Posted on Google
aaron stone5 days agoThese people truly care about animals. They took excellent care of our cat and provided multiple options for additional care. They even called multiple places for a higher level of care on our behalf. It is such a relief to have such care and guidance when your family member is having a medical emergency. 100% recommend Urgent Vet-The Woodlands. Dr. Hummel and staff, we can’t thank you enough for caring for Eli.Posted on Google
Mo Collier5 days agoOur 12yr old pitbull threw up and collapsed this past sat afternoon. We had no idea where to take her but it was clear she was dying. I found this place thru google. They were so kind, compassionate and fast. It was a horrible situation to be in, but they made the whole process as painless as losing a dog could possibly be. I will forever be grateful that they were open and got us in immediately during an emergency situation. I will def go back with my other 2 dogs, hopefully not under such awful conditions. Thank u for putting my baby to rest.Posted on Google
Ashlee Marie5 days ago10/10 let’s just get that out of the way. My boyfriend and I took our golden doodle in, we had noticed that he was acting off, had gobs of drool, was tilting his head and wasn’t eating. I thought it could’ve been a fox tail because they’re around, the doctor came in and looked at him and immediately noticed he had a spot under his tongue and some swelling; after discussing options as well as budget we decided it would be best to proctor see what was going on. After an hour or so we got the call she filled us in on everything turns out it was a puncture wound probably from a stick or bone, no fox tail. She told us if we had any concerns at all to and she would personally be in. Thee entire staff that we spoke with were pleasant and very friendly. All very lovely people. Couldn’t say enough about how great they all were. This place was also clean and got us in immediately.Posted on Google

Cesars Shoe World6 days agoKeeping in mind this Vet deals with stressful pet care emergencies. I was completely comfortable leaving my Cat for IV treatment. I saw Dr. Jijac, nurses Anna and Cheyenne what a great team. They were very calm and handled my Cat with care. Doctor took time to go over everything with me with patience. They showed me the itemized costs before treatment and explained the viable options. They moved quickly as to get my pet taken care of asap, unlike my own experience in hospitals where I sit in a hospital bed in the hallway for hours. LOL Again I will absolutely go back if my pets need after-hour care. I hope not. Costly but better than anticipated for ER. Thank you for your great care of my Kit Kat.Posted on Google
Ashleigh Gould6 days ago⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ if I could give more than 5 stars I would. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with UrgentVet McKinney. From start to finish, everything was exceptional, and I am so incredibly grateful for the care they provided our sweet boy. The team is fantastic, caring, empathetic, knowledgeable. Making an appointment was super easy and convenient, and the entire experience was efficient without feeling rushed. We were in and out in an hour, which was such a relief when we were already worried about our dog. The team took wonderful care of our baby, thoroughly treating his painful issues and making sure he received the attention he needed. Seeing your fur baby uncomfortable is heartbreaking, and knowing he was in such capable hands meant the world to us. He’s already improved remarkably, and we couldn’t be more relieved. Another huge plus was the affordability. The visit was much less expensive than a traditional emergency vet hospital, while still providing excellent timely care. Having a place like UrgentVet available when your pet needs swift attention for non life threatening emergencies is invaluable to us. We left feeling genuinely grateful, reassured, and confident in the treatment Kona received. Thank you to the entire UrgentVet McKinney team for taking such wonderful care of our boy! I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone whose pet needs urgent veterinary attention. You have earned our trust and appreciation! ❤️🐾Posted on Google

Heather Pax6 days agoWhile the wait was long the staff was very kind, caring and helpful. They were patient despite having had a whole lot of emergency situations while my mom-emergency doggo and I waited, they remained calm professional and courteous, offering snacks and coffee and water from the lobby, and continued to check in with us and let us know how things were going. When we did get to see the vet she was very easy to talk to, just like the staff. I wish I could remember names but everyone we encountered was really great to interact with. They were as prompt as they could be and offered multiple options for treatment, talked through them with me and made appropriate accommodations to make sure my baby was taken care of. They also have a charging station for devices in case you don’t have a charger, and every pet has its own room and there were never any interactions with other dogs inside the facility which was helpful for us.Posted on Google

Dr Dubil, is an excellent person and veterinarian, super kind and gentle with our pet. Thank you for your support and help Dr Dubil. I decided to make an appointment online with the UrgentVet in O'Fallon. It was a fast, easy process to schedule and we were met at the door and immediately welcomed. We knew we were facing the dreaded end of life procedure. We were taken to a private room in the back that had everything a dog could want: chocolate, peanut butter, treats. After explaining the situation and making the decision, the staff was extremely empathetic and did their best to comfort not only Lucky, but me and my husband as well. We were allowed to take as much time as we needed before and after the procedure to spend time with Lucky. We were never rushed. It helped that we were reassured by the vet that we, in fact, made the right decision. We made the decision to have Lucky cremated. While we were waiting for his ashes, we received a card in the mail signed by all the staff. The card also contained multiple paw and nose prints. I cannot begin to express how thoughtful this was and how much it meant to us. We were called within the 10 day period to pick up the ashes and also received a pawprint impression with Lucky's name on it. Even though this was one of the toughest days for us, we are so glad that we made the decision to use UrgentVet. I would, without a shadow of a doubt, use this clinic again in the future.Posted on Google

They made me feel so much better too when I was in panic mode. We didn’t have to spend hours there or outrageous money for what they had to do. Lee-Anne Wegmann8 days agoMy sweet Maggie is known for eating items other than her dog food and then not being able to pass the items! Today she swallowed a plastic supplement scoop whole and while she may have been able to pass it with her large size I am always worried. We called our regular vet and to my surprise they were not as helpful as I believe they could have been. I called Urgent Vet and the girl on the phone was very kind and actually gave me options . We ended up taking Maggie and induced vomitting and the plastic scoop came out! I was highly impressed by their professionalism and their willingness to help. Pricing was fair as well. We will definitely use them intended if needed. Fingers crossed we won’t though !Posted on Google

They referred me to this Urgent Care and I was delighted to check in on an iPad and was in a room within 5 minutes. The vet tech was very kind, competent, and gave lots of love to my little cavalier . Dr. Cooper was very thorough, asked allot of question, diagnosis of colitis came quick. She tested for many gastrointestinal issues and ultimately sent me home with three meds and a prescription food. My bill was 1/3 or more less than the animal Emergency hospital I typically go to. I give this urgent care 5 stars for sure!Posted on Google

The ladies at this clinic took such good care of him during his 3 visits that weekend. Pricing was great, service was even better. I’m happy to say after two weeks of recovering, Barkley is walking again and he wouldn’t have gotten here if it wasn’t for their immediate care. Thank you again ladies!
Our veterinarians love pets as much as you do.
