Zachery McKnight has always been an animal lover, even from an early age. Living in Dawson Springs, Kentucky, he encountered many type of animals and would always try to help injured wildlife that he’d happen upon.
At the very first clinic Zachery ever worked, an 8-week-old long haired chihuahua mix puppy came in and was parvo positive. Sadly, his owners decided to sign him over to Zachery. Cut to 12 years later and they are not the very best of friends – Zachery and little Dexter.
When he’s not at work in the pet clinic, Zachery loves to hike, travel, go to concerts, and being out on the lake or laying by a pool! He is a huge Disney World fan and has been to the amusement park a total of 39 times! Living with Zachery and his dog Dexter is Karma – a domestic shorthaired cat, and Albus – an Eastern Herman’s Tortoise.
