Originally from Farmington Hills, Michigan, Adina has always known that her heart belonged in the veterinary world. Since kindergarten, when she proudly declared she wanted to be a veterinarian, her passion for animals has remained a guiding force in her life. Adina earned her degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. She brings over five years of professional experience in the veterinary field, primarily in general practice with dogs and cats, along with meaningful work in rescue and exposure to exotic animals.
At home, Adina shares her life with her fiancé, two dogs (Stormie, a super “mut” and Sonny, a white German Shepherd – Husky mix), three cats (Two domestic long hair’s Breezy and Raina, and a dwarf Sphynix named Shady), and even a Mexican Fire Leg Tarantula named Rosie – all rescues. One of her most cherished memories is adopting her beloved black fluffy cat, who curled up on her lap the moment they met and has been by her side for 14 years.
Outside of the clinic, Adina is a self-proclaimed foodie, sports enthusiast, and avid traveler. She’s passionate about supporting local events and causes and has participated in volunteer efforts ranging from marine debris cleanup on a sailboat in Maine to assisting with wildlife care at a sanctuary in Colorado.
Adina’s compassionate leadership and lifelong love for animals make her an invaluable part of leading the UrgentVet Canton team.
