We’re here for you nights, weekends, and holidays.
Cats are beautiful, playful, mysterious friends. When the cat you love is suffering, you feel the pain and you want to bring relief as quickly as possible. That’s why UrgentVet is here. We provide the after-hours care you need when your primary care vet is closed or when you have difficulty scheduling an appointment during regular daytime business hours.
What we do
UrgentVet provides walk-in service for things that require prompt attention – but aren’t serious enough to require emergency hospitalization. In most cases, our veterinarians can take care of your cat’s problem in less than an hour. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Post-op incisions
- Minor bite wounds & abscesses
- Chronic pain management
- Skin allergies – itching, hair loss
- Ear infections – head shaking, ear discharge
- Urinary tract problems – blood in urine, voiding outside litter box
- Vaccine reactions
- Lumps & bumps
- Upper respiratory infections
- Mild lameness
- Toenail injuries
- Excessive thirst
- Sedation for travel
- Squinting & eye discharge
- Mild vomiting & diarrhea
- Not eating for up to 1-2 days
What we CAN’T do
We can’t keep your cat for overnight stays, and we’re not equipped to handle cases that require hospitalization or advanced surgical care. If we diagnose a serious condition, we’ll discuss other options with you, including the possible need for an immediate transfer to a 24-hour emergency hospital.
Come on in – no appointment necessary!
