Patricia Stimpson, CVT, Clinic Manager
As a Florida native, I graduated from the St. Petersburg Veterinary Technology program and gained my Certified Veterinary Technician credentials in 2005. My love for emergency medicine has carried me through my career. I have also trained and worked in Veterinary Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, and Critical Care specialties during my 8 years at a major Veterinary Speciality hospital chain. However, Emergency medicine and being able to work one on one with my patients as an ICU nurse will always hold a special place in my heart. I enjoy teaching & spreading my knowledge, and have spoken at multiple Veterinary conferences. My special interests include ophthalmic emergencies, diabetic- related illnesses & auto-immune disorders. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family- which includes my husband & daughter, plus our two dogs- Mona Lisa & Ham, our two cats Brooklyn & Mort, and our Goffin’s Cockatoo- Sammy. I particularly enjoy any day spent poolside or out on the boat, soaking up the Florida lifestyle! I am truly excited to be apart of the UrgentVet team and feel honored to be leading this amazing team!
Amanda spends her free time enjoying the outdoors including photography, kayaking, and snorkeling. She also enjoys time with her family and pets at home or at live events. She has 2 dogs (Rhea, and Adelaide) and 3 cats (Kratos, Adam, and Pi).
