Keeping in mind this Vet deals with stressful pet care emergencies. I was completely comfortable leaving my Cat for IV treatment. I saw Dr. Jijac, nurses Anna and Cheyenne what a great team. They were very calm and handled my Cat with care. Doctor took time to go over everything with me with patience. They showed me the itemized costs before treatment and explained the viable options. They moved quickly as to get my pet taken care of asap,
unlike my own experience in hospitals where I sit in a hospital bed in the hallway for hours. LOL
Again I will absolutely go back if my pets need after-hour care. I hope not. Costly but better than anticipated for ER. Thank you for your great care of my Kit Kat.

While the wait was long the staff was very kind, caring and helpful. They were patient despite having had a whole lot of emergency situations while my mom-emergency doggo and I waited, they remained calm professional and courteous, offering snacks and coffee and water from the lobby, and continued to check in with us and let us know how things were going. When we did get to see the vet she was very easy to talk to, just like the staff. I wish I could remember names but everyone we encountered was really great to interact with. They were as prompt as they could be and offered multiple options for treatment, talked through them with me and made appropriate accommodations to make sure my baby was taken care of. They also have a charging station for devices in case you don’t have a charger, and every pet has its own room and there were never any interactions with other dogs inside the facility which was helpful for us.

Being able to precheck was valuable. The staff did great keeping us informed while my dog had to get stitches. She’s 14 and the staff made sure she was good after coming out of anesthesia. Thank you for the snacks while we waited. Building is extremely clean and professional.

Check in was so easy online so I could wait in the car with my sick cat until I could be seen to not have to stress her out even more. I ultimately had to make the difficult decision to put my 16+ year old cat down because bloodwork showed she had advanced kidney disease and even if treated might no longer have any quality of life. They helped me make the most difficult decision easier and were very patient and kind even though I was a sobbing mess. Place was so clean and well laid out. I hope I’m not in that situation anytime soon with my other pets but I would definitely recommend this place and the people.

Urgent Vet provides excellent service! The staff is very caring and the hours are so convenient. It is very easy to set up a same day appointment online and they are there evenings and weekends. It is with sincere appreciation that I thank the veterinarians and all of the staff for taking such wonderful care of our fur babies when we needed them the most. I highly recommend Urgent Vet in Lakeland, Florida!

Scheduled an urgent online appointment with this group after the veterinary group, I have used for eight years, refused twice to work my very sick cat into their schedule. UrgentVet saw and diagnosed her within 3 hours. I will forever be grateful to them for the excellent help. Vet and her assistant were so professional, kind and sympathetic to our medical needs.

I unfortunately had to visit this location of Urgent Vet for what I feel is one of the hardest things to do in life.
We had to let an old friend move on from this world. I reached out to this location and from the ease of making the appointment to going in and meeting the staff was an excellent experience.
I cannot thank those who were there on the day I went in.
Dr Dubil, is an excellent person and veterinarian, super kind and gentle with our pet. Thank you for your support and help Dr Dubil.

Drea, thank you for being so kind and gentle to our pet, we could tell you love animals and have nothing but love for them!

Then there’s Emi. This kind person is so amazing! Thank you so very much for all your help! From helping my elderly mother throughout the building and walking us through the process.
Your love and kindness to all is nothing short of extraordinary!! It’s not often that one meets someone like Emi!!
Emi definitely went way above and beyond helping and supporting my mother and her pet as we went through this difficult process of sending a Family member to a better place.

Thanks again to all whom helped us through this, I cannot say enough, nor express how wonderful you all were to us. You all definitely deserve recognition for your kindness, service and dedication to first the Animals, and serving people.

We had an unbelievably extraordinary experience with these Lady’s.

I would not hesitate to let everyone know how great this location of Urgent Vet facility and their staff are.
Thank you! Thank you! So very much!!

I brought in my very sick cat, after finding it very easy to schedule an appointment. The young parson that greeted me and did the initial consultation was lovely, so respectful and careful with my cat. The very them came in and even after I expressed sheer hopelessness at the amount of testing and lack of the financial means to continue, he still gave me very sound and practical advice. This is a top quality facility where they care about you, as well as your animal and balance professionalism, and heart perfectly.

Everything was quick and efficient. From making online appt, to be taken back to room, tech getting my pets info, and Dr seeing my pet. Everyone was polite and courteous. Dr was empathetic and knowledgeable. We were in and out in a little over an hour. I would go back if needed. One last thing that was amazing, was how my pets primary vet called me the next morning to check on my pet because UrgentVet sent over his records just like they said they would. Excellent

I had brought my little Max here after I noticed he sounded super congested and at the time I didn’t know he was suffering with heart failure. They were super quick to help my little boy and gave lots of updates and after the x-ray showed the devastating news they were super sweet and helped me make the end of life care decision decisions .They even let me be in the room while he was put down and let me hold him one last time.Thank you so much for caring for my little boy and making his last moments comfortable. Also thank you for being so sweet to me while having to make the difficult decisions and dealing with my poor Maxie’s suffering.I miss my Max incredibly ,but I am happy he had staff that genuinely cared about him and helped him be comfortable. His brother and I are still dealing with the loss of Max and we are still pretty devastated from his loss so young he was only two years old,but I am grateful for the staff who took great care of my angel boy.

I can’t thank the doctor and the two wonderful nurses enough for their kindness, patience, and compassion during one of the hardest nights of our lives. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our sweet Papi. 💔🐾

Even though they closed at 8 PM, they stayed with us until the very end and never made us feel rushed. They treated Papi with so much love and gave our family the time we needed to say goodbye.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making such a painful moment a little easier. We will never forget your kindness. ❤️

I can't tell you enough about the bedside manner of this family at this facility. Yes, I said family. They treated us like family and the dearest of friends. They held our hands during the passing of our precious Maltese then rushed our doberman through the process of saving her from rat poison. They are life savers and some of the most kind hearted people you will ever meet. I recommend this location whole heartily to anyone that loves their pets. Our doberman who can't stand going to vet, felt calm and didn't panic there. This was very out of character for her and was such a warm change.

Our cat got very ill on a weekend. Sunday afternoon we decided we had to do something to help her. We found Urgent Vet. The process was easy to make an appointment. Registering online, a two minute process , allows you to walk in and be seen quickly. We were fortunate to be seen by Dr Braha and Emily W. Both were kind, knowledgeable, honest and efficient. Last night my little boy was visiting my elderly neighbor and ate something off the floor. She takes pills that would kill a little doggie. We don’t know if that is what he found and ate. But I was scared.

Took him to UrgentVet and they were amazing - even staying 90 minutes past closing to help. Very well priced. Gave me things and steps for after.

It doesn’t look like he ate any pills. But didn’t want to chance losing him. They were awesome and I fully recommend them. Thank you for everything - this morning he is playing with his buddy Twinkie (the chubby one in the back)

It has taken me a while to write this review, but I would highly recommend this clinic. On August 18, my 17 year old little boy, Lucky, was unable to stand on his own. I attempted to contact my local vet that I usually use, but it was after hours and I had to leave a message and was not receiving a response from them. I decided to make an appointment online with the UrgentVet in O'Fallon. It was a fast, easy process to schedule and we were met at the door and immediately welcomed.
We knew we were facing the dreaded end of life procedure. We were taken to a private room in the back that had everything a dog could want: chocolate, peanut butter, treats. After explaining the situation and making the decision, the staff was extremely empathetic and did their best to comfort not only Lucky, but me and my husband as well. We were allowed to take as much time as we needed before and after the procedure to spend time with Lucky. We were never rushed. It helped that we were reassured by the vet that we, in fact, made the right decision.
We made the decision to have Lucky cremated. While we were waiting for his ashes, we received a card in the mail signed by all the staff. The card also contained multiple paw and nose prints. I cannot begin to express how thoughtful this was and how much it meant to us. We were called within the 10 day period to pick up the ashes and also received a pawprint impression with Lucky's name on it.
Even though this was one of the toughest days for us, we are so glad that we made the decision to use UrgentVet. I would, without a shadow of a doubt, use this clinic again in the future.

Easy to book the appt, quick call back. The dr did not rush the visit. Eased into it and allowed Bentley to feel comfortable while we informed him of our concern. He was honest, straight forward and not trying to get us for more money. We felt he took care if our Bentley. Would highly recommend

Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable staff. Listened intently to concerns about my feline Rosie, explained their thoughts on her situation and gave us several options of treatment. The trip to their office was about 13 miles but well worth the drive. This Urgent vet will be our go-to for our Rosie's urgent needs.

This place was amazing. My little furry best friend was so sick and they were able to get her right in and made a plan right away to help her feel better. They made me feel so much better too when I was in panic mode. We didn’t have to spend hours there or outrageous money for what they had to do. I would recommend them to anyone if you have to take your pet because I know they’ll treat them like they treated Luna, like family.

My sweet Maggie is known for eating items other than her dog food and then not being able to pass the items! Today she swallowed a plastic supplement scoop whole and while she may have been able to pass it with her large size I am always worried. We called our regular vet and to my surprise they were not as helpful as I believe they could have been. I called Urgent Vet and the girl on the phone was very kind and actually gave me options . We ended up taking Maggie and induced vomitting and the plastic scoop came out! I was highly impressed by their professionalism and their willingness to help. Pricing was fair as well. We will definitely use them intended if needed. Fingers crossed we won’t though !

Went to the hospital and they had a two hour wait for level of urgency for my dog. They referred me to this Urgent Care and I was delighted to check in on an iPad and was in a room within 5 minutes. The vet tech was very kind, competent, and gave lots of love to my little cavalier .

Dr. Cooper was very thorough, asked allot of question, diagnosis of colitis came quick. She tested for many gastrointestinal issues and ultimately sent me home with three meds and a prescription food.

My bill was 1/3 or more less than the animal
Emergency hospital I typically go to.

I give this urgent care 5 stars for sure!

Visited the clinic the weekend of 10/9 with my dog barkley who suffered a severe neck injury that left him temporarily paralyzed. The ladies at this clinic took such good care of him during his 3 visits that weekend. Pricing was great, service was even better. I’m happy to say after two weeks of recovering, Barkley is walking again and he wouldn’t have gotten here if it wasn’t for their immediate care. Thank you again ladies!

Took my orange tabby in to be seen because he was wheezy and it’s better to be safe than sorry. They got me in, no problem after booking my slot on the website. The tech and the vet checked him out and the vet said he was probably having a feline herpes flare up.because his lungs and heart were fine and he was pretty normal acting otherwise. I was relieved! Both the tech and the vet were super friendly and informed me of everything they were doing. Even asking permission to lift him to get his weight. I would completely recommend them to anyone! Thank you.

The staff is very friendly and seem quite knowledgeable. Unlike Banfield, they wanted me present for the examination - which I greatly appreciated. They were great at reading my cats' body language before and throughout the examination. (I brought my cats in because one of them had thrown up a worm. I had no idea which cat.) They gave me an upfront estimate of charges for the examination as well as the tests and medication required before they acted upon the examination, tests, and prescribing the medication. They emailed me a copy of the examination notes as well as after visit care. .y son had driven me there and had university work to do. They were kind enough to move him into the "comfort room" where he would be able to focus better. The medication took immediate effect and the worms are clearing out of all the cats quite quickly. I have no complaints. In all truth, I think they would make excellent primary care providers if they ever decided to offer such services.

There are moments in life when kindness and compassion mean more than words can adequately express. Saying goodbye to our beloved Furbaby was one of those moments, and the extraordinary staff at Urgent Vet Care gave us something we will never forget: grace, tenderness, and genuine compassion during one of the most heartbreaking experiences of our lives.

We chose this location because a veterinarian we knew and trusted was working that day, but it was the incredible staff who truly made the experience exceptional. From the moment we arrived, their gentle approach, thoughtfulness, and extraordinary attention to every detail helped us navigate something that felt almost impossible.

They treated our baby with such dignity and tenderness, and they extended that same compassion to us. Nothing felt rushed, impersonal, or routine. Instead, we felt surrounded by people who genuinely understood that we weren't simply saying goodbye to a pet. We were saying goodbye to a deeply loved member of our family.

There is no way to make that kind of loss easy, but there are people who can make it peaceful, meaningful, and filled with love. The team at Urgent Vet Care did exactly that.

To every staff member who cared for him and for us that day, please know that your kindness left an imprint on our hearts. You took an impossibly difficult moment and made it possible for us to give our sweet boy the gentle, dignified farewell he deserved.

We will be forever grateful. 🤍🐾

I waited too long for my Ginger kitty to survive his bladder blockage, now I have caught myself up on the information I wish I had learned a long time ago. The Urgent Vet staff were of the highest order of emergency medical staff, springing into action as soon as they met me at the door. I was too late, but they handled my Ginger and then I and my mate with the tenderest and most respectful care. They all, everyone of them, were so very kind. We live out in Washington county and I would hope if we ever have such an emergency again, especially on a Sunday, we can get to this Urgent Vet care. Thank you. Jill Leroux

Brought my dog in because he was limping. The veterinarian and the ancillary staff were very very nice to my dog. My dog is very skittish at the vet and they were patient with him and made him feel comfortable enough that they could perform an appropriate exam. Turns out it was just a sprain, but it was worth the visit because of the competency of everybody involved.

I did not notice it until 6pm. Of course our normal vet was out, we called the other local er vet and it was a 4 hour wait.
We called, they said they were available with no wait. We went in, quick evaluation, fair estimate, and took care of our pup. Thank you so much!

We booked our first appointment at the recommendation of our primary vet. I read the ‘about’ on Urgent Vet website and came to understand why we needed to go there versus our regular vet. RI has a terrific animal hospital that handles ants to zebras. It’s busy 24/7 and you only go there if you have to. Visits can take a half day as it’s an emergency hospital. Our regular vet is like primary care doctor. Booked up for appointments and can handle minor emergencies but scheduling is a challenge. Urgent Vet is in between these two. Hours are later in day and no appointments are taken. You just get the next slot. In two hours our sick Weim had an ultrasound and bloodwork like a human hospital does. They do not compete with our vet and share everything with them. The rationale for Urgents business model is clear to us now. Efficient and available. So, going forward we know how our three options fit together. We are pleased with our first experience.

My dog was not acting herself and couldn't get an appointment with our regular vet so made an appointment here and was able to get in within 30 minutes. The staff is incredible, asking lots of questions and listening. The doctor is very thorough as well, taking time to listen and examine your pet. We did have a two hour wait, which is understandable considering another dog came in with an emergency that needed to be dealt with immediately but that was the only downside to our visit. Ultimately our dog had multiple tests run and nothing specific was able to be determined but I was happy to hear that we could return within 24 hours if nothing changed or got worse and we wanted a follow up. I feel like the charges are in line with what any other vet would charge and remember you are most likely paying for items that you don't have insurance for, unless of course you do have insurance for your pet. I am very impressed with this vet and may consider making them my go-to.

**** UPDATE ****
The day after my initial visit I received a call as a follow-up. I explained that we didn't see any change in our dog and the lady on the phone put me on hold to speak with the Doctor. The Doctor wanted to follow up and see our dog back in the office, even though they were completely booked they made an appointment for us to be seen at 5pm. Fortunately this time they were able to collect a urine sample and get to the root cause of the issue. The Doctor came in and gave an overly thorough explanation of what was going on, what the treatment was and the possible duration of recovery. Afterwards an associate came in and again gave an incredibly detailed description of the meds being given and what they would do. I have already seen our dog turn the corner and get that glimmer back in her eye. I am SO thankful for this vet and the attention that they give our pets. A little understanding and compassion go a LONG way and this place knocks it out of the park. For reference I saw other owners in the practice dealing with some much more serious issues to the point of tears and they handle each and every case with care.

I was able to get an appointment within the next 2 hours for my dog’s emergency. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and walked to a room. Waited all of 10 minutes (if that) before I was helped and a solution was found. The entire staff was super friendly, relatable, and helpful. Honestly wish this could be my pet’s primary doc!

It was after hours for our normal vet and we needed help. We went to them for end of life care for my sweet elderly cat as we didn't want her to suffer overnight. They had a living room type set up much better than a cold sterile feeling vet office room. Staff was caring and kind. They were great with my children and gave us plenty of time during the whole process-we never once felt rushed.

I brought my dog here for an emergency, and the staff were absolutely amazing! Milo already has pretty bad anxiety and isn’t comfortable around strangers. Although he was barking and growling, they were still so patient, kind, and understanding with him.

They made me feel so much more at ease and were very informative throughout the entire process. I also really appreciated that they provided me with a detailed estimate of the different treatments he could potentially receive, including things he may not necessarily have needed. They allowed me and Milo’s second owner to decide what we felt was necessary based on their recommendations and our budget, rather than making those decisions for us or pressuring us into unnecessary treatments. I truly appreciated their honesty, compassion, and willingness to work with us. I’m so thankful we brought our dog here, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing emergency veterinary care! They definitely earned my trust😊

The staff are extremely caring, meeting you at the door, offer in water (and tissues). I took my cat in convinced it was the end but the vet figured out what was happening and was able to fix the immediate issue with the suggestion to follow up with my regular vet. It was not inexpensive but I got a lot of answers and solutions for the cost. Other emergency vets I’ve been to are more expensive. I brought my beloved old kitty home, and we’ll live another day together. This is a very kind, modern, convenient Vet ER. Highly recommend.

We had to take our sweet Lilly girl in for some concerns which turned in to having to make One of the hardest decisions of our lives as a family. Lilly was a senior “puppy” whom was ready to cross the rainbow bridge. During this difficult time we were treated with such care, compassion and patience! When it was time to pick up her remains I was in awe of the details and consideration they put in to everything, such a beautiful package of her ashes, paw & nose prints, urn and a beautiful card from the staff. It felt so personal and special to us that she was cared for the way she was. Thank you so much for everything xoxo

My little Chico Bear and I had the absolute best experience receiving care at UrgentVet today. From the assistant to the doctor, the service was warm, friendly, and helpful. I was so worried about my cat’s health and as soon as the assistant let us in the clinic, I felt a wave of relief. She was knowledgeable and comforting and gentle with my sick cat. They understood my financial situation without judgement and found a way to get my cat enough care to sustain itself. He’s now on the mend and he and I can both rest tonight. Thank you so much! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.

I was out of town for a few days, and my 13 year old 60 pound dog Levon was being watched at a friend's home. While there, Levon had a sudden & violent (thankfully brief) dust-up with a powerful young dog twice his size, a dog who was new to Levon.

Displaying some obvious bite wounds and a limp which could've been masking other damage, my vet suggested going to UrgentVet Englewood because their Xray machine was down that day.

They were able to immediately see Levon. The staff were attentive, caring, professional, and focused. Dr Marks (sp?) tended to Levon, quickly assessed Levon's situation, suggested a reasonable course of action, and treated Levon right away.

Everything turned out well, Levon is recovering, my mind is at ease, and Levon & I unconditionally recommend UrgentVet Englewood.

My dog found a prairie dog in our fenced in backyard and it bit her leg. UrgentVet was compassionate, helpful, and worked quickly to figure out how badly my dog was injured. They offered me options and were very kind. My dog loved both the vet tech and the vet, which is a relief when a dog is injured. She trusted them and allowed them to inspect the bite and clean up her leg. They offered alternatives for follow-up as well, which is always comforting. I would definitely recommend them!!

Very friendly nursing staff, answered all of our questions appropriately and did an amazing job.

Totally honest review, literally my husand and I just left this vet. My dog had a foot injury and noticed he was getting worse. Took him in at 1020pm and out by 11 pm. Took care of the issues, got meds and lots of love from the staff.. some of the friendliest vet staff I have met. Highly recommended and the price for our issue was cheaper than going to an animal hospital. Thank you for your help and kindness for our dog Duke.

Brought my Bull Terrier in with infected dog bite wounds. I was greeted immediately and taken to a room. Our Tech was fabulous. He was knowledgeable, loving with my girl, and communicated throughout the entire process. A second Tech was kind, caring, and soothed my girl.
Dr. came in promptly and had a thorough conversation about what treatment would be. She was clear, which is helpful when you have a sick animal. She listened and explained everything.
We left with everything we needed and a care plan!
Thank you!!

My dog has the worst of the worst vet anxiety and when she got sick and needed to be seen quickly we came to UrgentVet for the first time. I would give this vet and its staff 5 stars again and again. They were so kind, patient and understanding. My dog was the most comfortable I had ever seen her at the vet and even went over to the doctor for more pets by the end of our visit. The doctor explained everything to me in detail so I had a complete understanding and didn't push me to do anything that could cause her more anxiety. Their compassion and love for animals is extraordinary!

I took my puppy to them and they took care of us quickly and we're very clear when explaining the situation to us. I tried to set an appointment with my regular vet but they didn't had any openings and it seemed to me that they busy and didn't had any appointments avaliable. I was too worry for my puppy, so I decided to take him here. The nurses at the emergency vet and the doctor are very nice and I can see how dedicated and loving they were towards my puppy. I'm very happy with them and if you have an emergency don't think it twice and head to this location.

I recently had to put my loveable Chewey kitty down after him giving us 20 years of joy. We were expecting it after the numerous vet visits, but still nothing prepares you for loss. Staff at UrgentVet were so kind and very detailed in the process no matter how painful it was. They allowed me to let Chewey pass in my arms so he was not alone in the end. I wish this heartache on no one, but if you need this resource, then UrgentVet is highly reccomended by me.

This is an addition to my previous Post. A Few weeks ago I had to make the tough choice to lay down my Princess Macey calico cat of 20 years. Pets are family and it's heartbreaking to make such difficult decisions. The staff at Urgent Vet understand this and help you through the process as difficult as it is. Thank you all at Urgent Vet of Odessa FL. I am thankful you are here for us.

Tonight our beloved Siamese, Murphy, needed after-hours care. Nurse Kevin Q. greeted us at the door and completed intake within minutes. Dr. Gomes and Kevin were both warm, professional, and put us completely at ease. Both evaluation and explanation of treatment options were very thorough. Completely impressed with the compassionate care! Thank you, Urgent Vet Short Pump!

This facility is WONDERFUL!!! Highly recommend everyone to use it if you have an emergency with ur pet. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Tonight I brought my boxer Darla in (for the first time) because she is prone to tumors and her regular Vet was closed. The new growth on her paw was bleeding and I was freaking out. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a friendly staff and the utmost urgency. Dr Temple (and his staff) were fabulous, kind and caring. They all put me at ease and did their best for my high strung boxer. Note: They (and Dr Temple) even called me after hours to explain the meds he was prescribing so I fully understood the dosage and reason. WHO DOES THAT?!!!?. A veterinary who cares, that’s who!! Again, use this facility if you have a pet emergency! I know I sure will.
Hats off to Dr Temple and his staff!!! 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

When my dog couldn't walk and the vets first emergent open appointment was a week away, I took her to Urgent vet. They us at the door and did a quick initial check and put us in a room. My dog received great care, everything was sent to her vet and they followed up a few days later with a phone call. My dog is doing much better

Took my cat here because she was having some breathing issues. I made an appointment time online and they took me right away. Everything from the vet nurse to the doctor was amazing. They explain all the billing before they do anything. Highly recommend when in a pinch and can’t get in with your regular vet now

They were overwhelmingly supportive when I came in frantic and panicked with 2 cats within a week of each other. They checked on me frequently and were very understanding when I became overwhelmed with grief and worry over my babies. Very emotionally supportive. Recommend going here as they are just as big of animal lovers as us 🥹

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire staff working Friday night! We had a scare with one of our dogs, and I called sobbing. Despite closing in just 30 minutes and knowing we lived 30 minutes away, the doctor kindly told us to bring her in. She never made us feel rushed and took her time thoroughly examining our girl and explaining everything. Their kindness, compassion, and patience meant more than they know during such a scary moment. So incredibly grateful for this amazing team!

Quick and compassionate. Went in on a Sunday evening after saving my spot for 730pm (30 min before closing) and was there less than an hour. My 13 year old Boxer had a fall in the car and I was worried he had dislocated his hip. The vet did a very thorough check of his entire body, watched him walk and was not concerned about a dislocation. Sent us home with meds and peace of mind that my old man was okay.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. They are fast, caring and really take time to explain things. We had a rocky week with one of our cats with 3 vet visits before ending up here (one at an ER and two at our regular vet). Our visit here was the most thorough and educational visit we have had, and also the most caring. The techs are phenomenal, they are happy to help and incredibly sweet. Tessa was incredible about explaining everything she found and what she thought was and wasn’t necessary. We also had to bring our kitten here a different day(it was after hours at our regular vet) and they got her comfortable and settled for the night. Everyone that visit was incredible too. They called the next day to ask how our cats were doing as well. The price is less than an ER, and they are very upfront about costs.

Our visit wasn't a happy one, we had to say goodbye to our 13 year old kitty boy. Tucker was spicy all the way until the end, but the staff here were so gentle and patient with him and I can’t thank them enough for that. Saying goodbye is the hardest part of having a pet, but we were able to spend time with him and hold him as he left us, we never felt rushed. I hope I never have to do this again, but if I do I will definitely come back here. Thank you all for giving us your best while we were going through the worst.

My cat got a nasty cut on her side on a Sunday. We were able to come in and be seen the same day and the wait was much shorter than any other emergency vet in the area. The procedure even ended up being cheaper than quoted and the quality of care was amazing. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs care on a weekend when most places are closed.

Urgent Vet was so helpful when we brought our dog in. Her ear was in very bad shape due to a bite from the neighbors dog. It was a big bloody mess and the tech was so kind. He cleaned up the mess, took care of our baby and the doctor was so transparent and sweet as well. They let us use their phone to make calls to other specialty offices because our girl's injury was too complex for them to handle at this office. In a very tough time, they helped us in many ways and we would 100% go back and recommend all to their office! Your furry friend is in great hands at Urgent Vet!

My experience was extremely heartbreaking, but only because we had to euthanize our baby. This happened a year ago and to this day I think about the vet that helped our beautiful Doberman Luna cross the rainbow bridge. She knew exactly why our girl had declined so quickly, which was unfortunately the dreaded DCM. I wish I remembered her name, but she was so companionate and even shared some tears with us as our girl took her final breath. I will forever be grateful to her and the staff for making such a heartbreaking moment just a little bit easier for us.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the team at UrgentVet in Taylorsville. We brought in a critically ill, failing kitten today, and the level of compassion, gentleness, and empathy shown to us was truly extraordinary. This is a place that truly values and cares about the well being of your animals, and it shows throughout the entire staff. Great experience at urgent vet yesterday. Called, set up a time spot, got there a little early and the vet tech Caitlyn took us right in. She was so nice :) Dr DelGrosso came in maybe 10 minutes later and we were done in about an hour. My dog had a split claw so it was pretty straightforward but they took great care of him and were kind and caring. Caitlyn even lifted him into my car for me!
I honestly think it would’ve been more expensive at my vet (their prices have been STEEP since corporate take over) though can’t say for sure.
It was a Saturday so it was really great to have this non ER option! I know THAT would’ve been $$$.
Thanks again to the team
(Pic of Koda post treatment, a bit woozy from pain meds and staring at the wall waiting to go. He slept great and woke up today like his old self and seems comfortable)

Dr. Schlanger and Alex were amazing with my dog Clover. She is a very anxious girl and they did their best to make her feel as comfortable and safe as possible.

Great facility—they were triaging multiple difficult cases at the same time and still managed to deal with our dog’s wound and eventual surgery in a timely manner. So thankful for this caring team who took great care of our Finch.

This past week our sweet feral cat Lola was clearly unwell. We were traveling from Rio Rico and I was desperate, so I made an appointment with an emergency vet. After waiting over an hour, they told me they wouldn’t be able to see her for several more hours and suggested I try somewhere else.
I noticed UrgentVet was right around the corner and, with Lola looking worse, I decided to go. We arrived around 10 p.m. A wonderfully kind vet tech immediately gave us a room, and another lovely team member handled intake right away—even though they were clearly very busy. I was terrified they would turn us away, especially since it was a little after 11 (their closing time) by the time Dr. Padd was finally able to come speak with me and examine Lola.
I explained that I suspected a UTI and that Lola is feral and does not like to be touched. Dr. Padd let me know she was finishing a critical case and would take Lola as soon as she could. She also mentioned that, given how feral Lola is, sedation would potentially be necessary— which I thought was a fantastic idea. They were able to sedate her around midnight and took her back shortly after.
Long story short: the entire team was compassionate, gentle, and incredibly caring. They clearly explained every step they planned to take. Many clinics struggle with (or avoid) ferals, but all three of these women were wonderful. They stayed long past closing to care for my baby, dry my scared tears, and properly test and treat our frightened little girl.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you to Dr. Padd and the two amazing techs. I’m kicking myself for not catching their names, but all three of you have a permanent place in my heart. It's been a few days and Lola is OBVIOUSLY feeling so much better. ❤️
