Samantha Harrings

Samantha has been involved with veterinary medicine since the tender age of 13. With over 20 years of experience in caring for animals, she feels it is her life’s calling.

She graduated in Animal Science from Cedar Valley College. Since then she’s worked in both general practices and emergency settings. Having spent time in each environment, she thrives in emergency and urgent care – as she believes she can make the greatest impact on the pets she serves.

UrgentVet has been the perfect setting for Samantha as she likes the fast-paced setting of urgent care but the overnight emergency hours aren’t for her. She is proud to manage UrgentVet’s flagship clinic in Belmont, North Carolina.

In her spare time, Samantha enjoys hiking, swimming, reading and of course – spending time with her family, which includes a husband of 15 years, two kids, 2 dogs and 5 cats. Her dogs are both Great Pyrenees – named Fang and Sadie. Her cats are Sunshine, Butters (pictured), Callie, Sky and Ember.
