Paul Mallard

Paul N. Mallard hails from the south side of Chicago, IL. It’s here where he first learned that he had a true passion for animals. His career started in conservation while he was still in high school. He studied aquatic sciences at the aquarium and learned about small animals at the zoo.
From there, he went to Dillard University to study biology and interned at the local zoo. After finishing up in his studies in New Orleans, LA, he relocated to Marietta, GA. Here he got on the path to veterinary medicine. While working at veterinary practices, Paul gained experience in preventative care, emergency veterinary care, specialty care, and marketing. He has 6 years’ experience in veterinary management and 13 years’ experience in animal care.
Paul has four grey cats and two dogs and enjoys spending a lot of his time with his four-legged children and gran-dogger. When he’s not at UrgentVet or with his pets, he enjoys the performing arts, poetry, singing, dancing, and acting.
