Olivia is a passionate and compassionate leader with six years of experience in the veterinary field. Growing up in Richmond, Virginia, Olivia’s love for animals started early, fueled by her bond with a German Shepherd puppy. From that moment, her desire to advocate for animals and be their voice led her to pursue a career in veterinary care.
Olivia has worked in various areas of the veterinary field, including ER ICU, surgery, specialty care, and general practice (GP), where she has gained a wealth of experience in patient care. One of her most memorable moments in the field was witnessing a patient with a gunshot wound walk out of the hospital a week later, going home with their owner—a true testament to the power of veterinary medicine and compassionate care.
Outside of work, Olivia enjoys gardening, hiking, meditation, and reading. She shares her life with her two dogs, Tucker, a Beagle, and Petunia, a Poodle mix, who keep her active and bring her joy.
Known for her caring and compassionate nature, Olivia’s dedication to the well-being of pets and their families shines through in everything she does. Whether in the clinic or in her personal life, Olivia’s commitment to nurturing animals is evident in her hands-on approach and her heartfelt desire to make a positive impact on the lives of the pets she cares for. Olivia leads the team at UrgentVet Midlothian where they treat non-life-threatening emergencies in cats and dogs.
