Meghan has a deep-rooted passion for animal care that began during her nine years as a groomer in Oceanside, California. After realizing her desire to help pets feel great on the inside, she transitioned to veterinary medicine, where she has thrived for the past eight years.
Meghan’s heartwarming connection with animals is beautifully illustrated by her bond with Huckleberry, a special patient who was born blind and deaf. Meghan groomed Huckleberry for years, building a relationship based on love and trust. When she made the shift to veterinary care, Huckleberry’s family chose to bring him along, knowing he would be in safe hands.
She studied at Palomar College in San Marcos, California, earning her Associate’s Degree. As a dedicated professional, Meghan has spent her entire veterinary career in general practice and has served as a Practice Manager for four years.
Outside of work, Meghan enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, playing sports with her family, and gardening. She lives with her husband of eight years, their two sons, a chocolate lab named Bart (also affectionately called Barty Boo), and a domestic short hair cat named Steve.
A lover of French Bulldogs, Meghan cherishes the memory of her beloved Lucy and dreams of having a herd of Frenchies in the future. Her compassion and commitment to both animals and their families make her an invaluable asset to the UrgentVet Greenwood community.
