Lily grew up in Winter Haven, Florida and had an immediate love for animals that sparked in her early childhood at age 6. Witnessing the swift and compassionate response of a veterinary team that saved her neighbor’s injured dog left a lasting impression, making her realize that she wanted to be part of the field.
One of Lily’s most cherished memories is of getting her first dog, Max, a Pomeranian. After months of pleading with her parents, they finally agreed, and the moment she saw Max hiding under a couch, she knew he was the one. The sign that solidified it all was that his new name matched the food brand provided by his previous owner. Although Max passed away in 2015, he remains her forever heart dog.
With 6 years of experience in the veterinary field, Lily’s career began with volunteering at the SPCA focusing on both adoption and medical care. She later shadowed a veterinarian and started working in general practice before joining UrgentVet Lakeland as a Care Team Member two years ago.
Outside of work, Lily enjoys going to the beach, attending concerts and exploring new cities. She lives with her six dogs – Toby, Hudson, Kaia, Huxley, Royce, and Layla – and her two cats, Walter and Coop (who has three legs). Lily is also a passionate Florida Gator football fan and values the relationships she builds with both pets and their owners!
Lily leads the team at UrgentVet Lakeland who treat non-life-threatening emergencies in cats and dogs.
