Lauren, Practice Manager at UrgentVet Greenville, has always had a deep passion for animals, which started in her childhood in Spartanburg, SC. Growing up, her mom frequently brought home rescue cats and dogs, and Lauren’s first pets were two poodles, Cole and Chloe. This early exposure to animals sparked her love for them, which quickly grew into a lifelong commitment to animal care.

Lauren has 13 years of experience in the veterinary field, with a strong background in both Emergency and General Practice. Her years of experience have shaped her into a compassionate and dedicated leader, committed to providing the best care for both pets and their families at UrgentVet Greenville.

One of Lauren’s most cherished memories with an animal was with her former service dog, Rosie, a Golden Retriever. Rosie was more than just a dog—she was truly a member of the family. Lauren fondly recalls the bond they shared, with Rosie being the absolute best dog she had ever had. This connection with Rosie deepened her understanding of the powerful bond between humans and animals.

Outside of her work at UrgentVet, Lauren enjoys spending time with her children and caring for the many animals on her farm. She shares her home with a rescue French Bulldog named Gucci, among other animals.

Lauren’s extensive experience and love for animals make her a compassionate and knowledgeable leader at UrgentVet Greenville. She is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive environment for both pets and their owners, ensuring that every visit is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

With a strong commitment to animal welfare and over a decade of experience in the veterinary field, Lauren Horne leads with care and empathy, making her an invaluable part of the UrgentVet Greenville team.
