Kyra Lilienthal

Kyra Lilienthal grew up in Shelby, North Carolina where her love of helping animals started the day she found her first dog, Chance. Despite having been malnourished and mistreated by humans, Chance was happy and loyal. To this day he continues to show his love and appreciation to his savior and pet parent, Kyra.

Kyra received her associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Medical Technology at Gaston College. Since then, she has worked in the veterinary field for five years in both general practice and urgent care (here at UrgentVet in Belmont).

Outside of the clinic, Kyra can be found crocheting, watching horror movies, and hanging out with her pack! She lives with her boyfriend, Ryan, their five dogs (Envy a Lab mix, Chance a Pitbull, Dooby a Boxer mix, Nala a Golden Retriever, and Frog a GSD mix) and their two cats (Fynn and Ratitator, a Domestic Shorthaired).

Kyra is honored to have been promoted to Practice Manager of UrgentVet Pet Clinic in Belmont where she continues to care for cats and dogs in Gaston County and points beyond. He goal is to ensure they are loved and supported when they visit the hospital.
