Juan Barrera

Juan is native to Medellín, Colombia and has lived in Florida for the past 15 years. Juan began his career in the veterinary industry as an assistant at a general practice in Miami and has since filled roles in specialty and emergency medicine. Juan uncovered his passion for leading people and hospital development while working in emergency medicine and is excited for what the future holds for UrgentVet The Villages.

On his free time, Juan enjoys spending sunny days snorkeling the many reefs Florida has to offer with his wife, Ashley. At home, he enjoys saltwater reef keeping and has 2 pets at home: Minto the cat and Enzo the dog.
