Heather brings 20 years of veterinary experience to the team. Growing up in West Virginia, Heather’s connection to animals has been a lifelong passion. She feels as though the veterinary profession was made for her, a sentiment she embraces every day. From a young age, Heather knew she was destined to work with animals, and it has shaped her career and life.

One of Heather’s most cherished memories in the veterinary field involves fostering medical cases with her wife, including a remarkable set of “swimmer pups” who were rescued from neglectful conditions. Their inspiring journey was featured in a viral The Dodo video, and Heather will forever treasure the memory of watching these three puppies overcome the odds and thrive.

With 20 years of experience, Heather has worked in a variety of veterinary settings, including general practice, emergency care, specialty medicine, and rescue work. She’s also fostered over 70 animals, demonstrating her dedication to animal welfare beyond her work at UrgentVet.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her wife and their “menagerie” of animals, including dogs, horses, and goats. She also has a love for classic Dodge trucks, adding a bit of vintage charm to her already eclectic lifestyle.

Heather’s expertise, combined with her passion for helping animals and their families, makes her a vital part of the UrgentVet Pottstown team, where she continues to deliver compassionate care to all pets in need.
