Emma Geoghegan

Emma grew up in Glen Mills, PA, and has always been curious about medicine, leading her to a fulfilling career in the veterinary field. Although there wasn’t a specific childhood memory that sparked her interest, her natural curiosity guided her towards veterinary medicine.

One of Emma’s favorite memories is winning a horse show with her horse, “On a Mission”, a moment that highlighted her deep connection with animals.

Emma holds multiple associate degrees from Harcum Junior College in Bryn Mawr, PA, including Veterinary Technology, Animal Center Management, and Equine Studies. With 28 years of experience in the veterinary field, she has worked in various areas such as large animal surgery, general practice, and specialty care.

Outside of UrgentVet, Emma enjoys gardening, spending time with her family, and watching the Philadelphia Eagles games. She lives with her son, Chase, and their flame point Siamese cat, “Franchesca the Fabulous Feline”.

A fun fact about Emma is that she is a passionate Eagles fan (Fly Eagles Fly!) and once had 10 Jack Russell Terriers at the same time. Her extensive experience and dedication make her an integral part when leading the UrgentVet Pottstown team.
