Dr. Kathleen M. Meyer

I graduated from Michigan State University in 1979, then completed an internship at a large private practice outside of Boston. Since 1982, I have worked full time in 4 different emergency/critical care/specialty practices in Michigan and Florida.

I have been involved with the veterinary technology program at St. Petersburg College since 1995. I equally enjoy working in emergency practice and teaching, sharing my knowledge, experiences and enthusiasm for emergency medicine with veterinary technology students.

My family consists of Steve, my partner who puts up with all my animals! Crenshaw, a 2015 model tabby, Butterfly, 2018 DHS with splay legs, Isaac, 2005 model pit bull mix, Hercules 2007 model Heinz 57, Leia, 2007 model Chiweenie, and Chico 2014 model Chihuahua mix. And our 2 new fur babies- Larry, DSH DOB ~ 6/19 and Rudy, DOB ~ 4/19 a rowdy MN doberman.

My interests outside of work include walking with my dogs, reading, music and travel.
