Dr. Courtney Sorenson

Dr. Courtney Sorensen is a graduate of Ross University, a veterinary school located on the island of St. Kitts. She attended the University of Florida during her clinical year and found a passion for emergency and critical care medicine. She recently completed a rigorous year-long internship at the BluePearl 24-hour emergency clinic in Tampa, Florida.

Courtney is originally from Texas, where she completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M and during her clinical year at UF, she met her fiancé Zachary, who currently works for state of Florida. In no time at all, she absolutely fell in love with Florida.

They are guardians to one dog – Sig-Muffin – the most perfect cattle dog, that is actually afraid of cows! They love to spend their time exploring the outdoors – hiking, boating, and enjoy their time with friends. They are excited that Gainesville is their family’s forever home.
