Alexandra, born and raised in Bensenville, has nurtured a lifelong passion for animal care. Her journey into the veterinary field began with a deep-seated love for animals and a desire to be actively involved with their well-being.
One of Alexandra’s fondest memories involves her current dog, Marshall, a Doberman/Great Dane mix. From the early days when Marshall was just a week old and bottle-fed, he would snuggle in her sweatshirt hood during commutes to work. This cherished experience solidified her commitment to animal care.
Alexandra brings over 14 years of experience in the industry, including a background in general practice, grooming and boarding.
Outside of her professional life, Alexandra is an avid NASCAR fan, enjoying trips to the racetracks, spending time outdoors with her family. She lives with her spouse, Rick, and their two sons – Travis and Parker, along with their dog, Marshall, and a leopard gecko named Ferrari.
Alexandra’s dedication to veterinary care, combined with her personal experiences and interests, make her an asset when leading the UrgentVet Elgin team.
